01. PLANNING

Once initial contact is made, you’ll receive a questionnaire about your project to book your photoshoot. Once your photoshoot is booked we will hop on a call to discuss a styling plan and create a shot list so we can communicate effectively on set.

From adding a professional stylist to your photoshoot to renting decor items to make the photos shine, I offer a series of add-ons and additional services to ensure our work together is as efficient and fun.

02. CREATING

On the day of the photoshoot, I’ll bring my gear, my photography assistant, and an approved shot list.

We’ll work together and collaborate on composition ideas, styling suggestions, and even discuss what to order for lunch.

I tether to my laptop, so you can see and approve every image before it’s captured, ensuring we are only focusing on the details you love, so you can tell the brand story you have in mind.

03. SHOWCASING

After our photoshoot I’ll begin editing, and you can expect to receive your gallery within 15 business days.

If we capture headshots of you, I will send a proof gallery of those images for you to choose from, and they’ll be edited and added to your final library of images.

If you would like your images delivered faster I offer a series of rush editing options you can add to you invoice.

SO THE WORLD CAN SEE THE FACE BEHIND THE ART

I love seeing designers interact with the space they poured so much of their thought and time into creating, so if you would like headshots and lifestyle photos of yourself taken at one of your recently finished projects I’m totally game.

Doesn’t matter if it’s a formal sitting portrait surrounded by your designs, or lifestyle shots bringing dishes to the dining table, arranging flowers, or styling bookshelves, I love capturing it all.

  • Interior photography sessions are NOT a high volume, point and click, slap a preset on it and call it good affair.

Sessions are time-intensive, and can span anywhere from 3 to 10 hours.

Finding the right composition, addressing lighting challenges, setting up equipment, cleaning, and styling for the shot takes time and patience to get it right.

You can expect us to capture 3-4 images per hour of session time.

  • During our session you can expect us to capture anywhere between 3-4 images per hour. I've found that creating the best work I'm capable of involves spending quite a bit of time addressing lighting issues, cleaning and styling to make the composition look as good as possible on site.

I offer photography pricing packages that include anywhere between 8-40 fully edited images, with a corresponding license to meet your marketing needs and goals.

  • Yes! Yes! Yes, and I highly recommend you do.

I always advocate reaching out to everybody who worked on the project with you to see if they are interested in licensing the photos for their business to use.

This will help you maximize your annual photography budget.

  • Great question. I absolutely love working with stylists, as they are amazing at understanding how a camera reads the space.

Stylists bring so much to a photo shoot that I highly recommend hiring one for your projects.

If you decide to go it alone, that’s totally fine, but please keep in mind that I will be focused on the technical details of photography at our sessions.

While I’m happy to offer input or suggestions, I’m not a stylist and will be deferring all styling decisions and prop placements to you.

  • Florals and greenery are an integral part of creating beautiful imagery, so I highly recommend either coming to the session equipped with enough florals to make unique arrangements for every room we are photographing, or working with a local florist and have them create and deliver arrangements for each space to the session.

  • My standard turnaround time for editing is 15 business days. If you would like expedited editing, choose the best option that fits your schedule on my pricing form.

If we capture lifestyle photos or headshots of you during our session, I will send over a proof gallery so you can choose your favorites images for me to edit 2-5 days after our session concludes.

  • Nancy Vegel of United Phoenix Designs

Stacy is very talented and did an amazing job photographing my business' soft furnishings products. She took photos of drapery panels on a window with full sunlight behind them and made the details pop! Stacy set up vignettes to create a welcoming look for the pillows, cushions, bedding and made them look fantastic. I look forward to trusting Stacy again on future photography projects.
