The Interior Design, Architecture, and Brand Photography Process
Helping you get the most out of your imagery from start to finish
BOOK YOUR SESSION
|
BOOK YOUR SESSION |
Completing my contact form is the first step of the booking process.
Once we hop on the phone and perform a vibe check, I’ll send you a scheduling link with my availability, so you can book your photoshoot appointment around your schedule.
That same link will generate a proposal, where you’ll confirm your package deliverables and provide all your your photoshoot details.
CREATIVE PRODUCTION + PLANNING
|
CREATIVE PRODUCTION + PLANNING |
Once you’re booked, our pre-production process will develop our creative direction and marketing strategy.
We’ll schedule a walk through that will help me gain a better understanding of the spaces being photographed, your design aesthetic, and your project details.
From there, I’ll create a creative direction board including photoshoot details, deliverables, the shot list, and composition inspiration to ensure we’re on the same page.
The goal is to provide you with images that reflect your brand that not only look incredible in your portfolio, but also showcase your uniqueness and help meet the marketing demands of our current digital era.
CAPTURING + EDITING
|
CAPTURING + EDITING |
On photoshoot day, we’ll work together to capture the images on our agreed shot list.
During the editing process, I’ll make color corrections, exposure adjustments, soften shadows, and remove distractions like can lights, HVAC vents, and electrical outlets.
Once editing is complete, your images will be delivered in a Pinterest style online gallery where you can download both full resolution and web sized files.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Interior photography sessions are time-intensive, and can span anywhere from 4 to 8 hours.
Finding the right composition, addressing lighting challenges, setting up equipment, cleaning, and styling decor items for the shot takes time and patience to get it right.
You can expect us to capture 3 -4 images per hour of session time.
-
During our session you can expect us to capture anywhere between 3 - 4 images per hour of session time.
I've found that creating beautiful work involves spending quite a bit of time addressing lighting issues, cleaning and styling to make the composition look as good as possible on site.
I offer photography pricing packages that include anywhere between 12-25 fully edited images, with a robust commercial marketing and advertising license to meet your marketing needs and goals.

Yes! Yes! Yes, and I highly recommend you do.
I always advocate reaching out to everybody who worked on the project with you to see if they are interested in licensing the photos for their business to use.
This will help you maximize your annual photography budget.
-
Most clients opt for the 2 payment option, which is the initial $500 retainer payment to secure your session date on my calendar, and the remaining balance due the day of the photoshoot
I also offer a 4 month payment schedule, it includes a 10% processing fee and autopay is required. If you are interested in that option please let me know.
-
I do not offer styling services to clients at this time.
I recommend that every client seriously consider hiring a stylist for their photoshoot. I absolutely love working with stylists, they are amazing at understanding how a camera reads the space.
If you decide to go it alone and DIY it, that’s totally fine. Styling is an absolute art form and a proverbial time suck, so I recommend styling and cleaning the space the day before our photoshoot takes place to ensure we can capture as many images as possible.
While I’m happy to offer input or suggest item placements on site, all decision making around styling florals, and prop placements will be deferred to you.
-
Florals and greenery are an integral part of creating beautiful imagery, so I highly recommend either coming to the session equipped with enough florals to make unique arrangements for every room we are photographing, or working with a local florist and have them create and deliver arrangements for each space to the session.
-
My standard turnaround time for editing is 15 business days. If you would like expedited editing, choose the best option that fits your schedule on my pricing form.
If we capture lifestyle photos or headshots of you during our session, I will send over a proof gallery so you can choose your favorites images for me to edit 2-5 days after our session concludes.
